Hello everyone!
- Many curious on how a nutrition coach (health coach) life is. To Emma, what I am doing is not only my passion but for the sake of myself, my family and for my love ones. Since having learned on nutrition at IIN in the US along with my experience of being overweight from my pregnancy, also sharing cancerous gene pool from my family, self-awareness in eating has become crucial to me. This leads me to the goal of making everyone healthy, pushing back illnesses in combination with promoting Eat Clean community.
What Emma do every day is to balance between personal time and time for my family. This is not an easy task but I am always consciously aware which is more important.
5 a.m. – 6 a.m.: This is when I wake up, the first thing I do is to boil a kettle of hot water to make a cup of warm drinking water. At the beginning, Emma started with 250ml and raised this to 500ml and now, it’s 700ml of warm water with some lime juice. This drinking habit helps me stay awake, promoting bowel movement. Since I start drinking water as alike, I can see less issues with my digestive, which is the main reason I highly recommend this practicing.
6 a.m. – 8 a.m.: After finishing my water, I usually read or listening to audio book for about 45 minutes before having half a banana and doing a routine of 45 to one-hour exercise. This training helps me with weight controlling, detoxing, relaxing and strengthening my body. My routine in a week is a combination of cardio, hitting (push-up?), home weight lifting. I loved jogging but now I can afford 3 sessions per week.
After exercising, Emma usually make vegetables juice and have breakfast. Since practicing Eat Clean method, my breakfasts usually exclude meats and salty dishes as they did in the past. In exchange, the first meal of the day contents cereals, fruits that support digesting system. The breakfast is followed by working and replying emails, consulting on nutrition or livestreaming to communicate with my fans on Fanpage Emma Pham Kitchen.
Lunch is quite simple to Emma with salad, or leftovers in fridge or sometimes noodle which takes only 10 – 15 minutes for preparation to save time for work.
Dinner, the main meal of the day, ends at 6 for my family. We usually have salad 2 – 3 times per week and go vegan 2 – 3 meals weekly. We eat fish and chicken but rarely beef. One of the reasons is that it’s not good for my husband nor my family in the long run since beef contains high fat level. Remaining balanced diet is very important to my family since as mentioned about, we share cancerous gene pool.
8 p.m. is the time for my son. We read together before sleeping. This has been remained since he was born so without reading, he would cry. This is an extremely good habit to our children.
